Replacing rear quarter window on a tourer - how hard?

Someone has smashed the rear quarter window on our '04 tourer (the side window for the boot). Does anyone know the process for removing and refitting it and how hard it is? Thanks Rob

    Boot strut replacements

I think the boot struts on my '04 2.2 CDTI accord tourer have gone. The boot was open and suddenly slammed shut (luckily with nobody in the way!) and now it will not support itself or go up/down unaided. I have found the following struts for sale - can anyone confirm they will fit and are of...

Replacement exhaust for 2.0 petrol tourer

Does anyone know if a facelift exhaust differs from the pre-facelift? Talking about the whole system from manifold back.

Can you see if the exhaust manifold has been replaced on the diesel?

Going to see a 7th gen diesel tourer today, the owner thinks it has had the exhaust manifold replaced under warranty but does not have any evidence, is there a way to tell by looking at it whether it has been replaced? Thanks

    Wear on exhaust cam lobe

I see... Torn between flogging it now before issues arise, or carry on running it and start looking for a replacement engine / camshaft. Glad I decided to do the valve clearances either way, wouldn't have known otherwise! Is there any way to see if the valve will need replacing too? Thanks...

    Wear on exhaust cam lobe

Hi everyone, I just finished setting the valve clearances on my 2004 2.0 Petrol tourer. Whilst at it I noticed that one of the exhaust cam lobes has some wear (the others all look fine). Car seems to run fine and quietly, but should I be worried? It is on cylinder 4 if that makes any...

    MP3 player aux connection

Hi all, I have a '04 Tourer exec with premium sound system (non sat-nav) and want to connect a sony mp3 player. What is the cheapest/easiest way to go about doing this? Happy to control via the mp3 player itself rather than steering wheel/head unit controls if needs be. Thanks Rob

Servicing - what should be done and when?

Ah that's good to know then, thanks very much for the advice. How much should I expect to pay for a 03/04 plate 2.0 executive auto? The ones i'm going to look have done 80k-100k and have FSH and 12m MOT. Parkers says £2.4k for a private sale in good condition at that mileage... Cheers

Servicing - what should be done and when?

Thanks for the info. The cars are all a fair distance from me so am trying to get a handle on how they have been serviced before I travel! The cars i'm looking at are around 80-100k miles, do you think it matters if they haven't had the valve-adjustment done? They all have stamped service...

Servicing - what should be done and when?

Hi guys/girls I'm on the hunt for a 7th gen petrol 2.0 accord, but haven't been able to see the servicing requirements set out in detail anywhere. I have searched the forum but apologies if I have missed them. I know servicing should be every 12,500, but am trying to find out what needs doing...
