Upper Display fault - will cooking it help?

My top display did exactly the same as yours, after taking it out and messing with it a few times it still was the same, a thump on the dash brought the display on again intermittenly, I finally found the cure and it's been faultless for 3 months now. Take out the display and just use a small...

    Battery losing charge

I realize now that fuse 7 named as "back up" does not mean reverse lights lol. I did disconnect the bluetooth module behind the panel where the hazard light switch is but there was still a drain on the battery. Tomorrow I will leave fuse 7 out and see what doesn't work

I hope someone can help with my problem, 2006 Accord 2.2 Diesel Exec Tourer. When leaving my car unused for a couple of days the battery is well drained down & won't start sometimes. The alternator is charging fine, Battery is only a year old so no trouble there. I tested for a drain on the...

    Sunroof switch

I have a 2006 Accord diesel exec tourer, I was sat in the car the other night and I went to close the sunroof and noticed that there was no illumination on the switches in the roof console, as Honda illuminate most swiches should these light up? Just thought I would ask before I remove it to...

    Towbar wiring

Change of plan, I don't know why I didn't think of this before, I have now fitted LED light units to my trailer board, the stop light only draws 0.08 amps so this will not put undue load on the car electrics.

    Towbar wiring

Thanks for the advice, it's only used a couple of times a year to tow my boat to the coast for a spot of fishing so I will fit one of those relays which are about £16 on Ebay, I don't think I need the £100 ones, they are probably if you tow a caravan with twin electrics. Cheers

    Towbar wiring

Hello I have a 56 plate Accord Tourer and I have just fitted a towbar which was easy enough but I am a bit worried about the wiring, I have wired a standard single socket to the wires that come off the rear lights, it all works when I test it with the trailer board but I have read that I should...

Reversing camera using factory sat nav as monitor

I think someone with a pre-facelift model should pull out the dvd and see what sockets are there, if it is as Alnug's link above that's great, Plug "B" has a what looks like a green wire with stripes, this is the reverse feed to the sat nav, you do not have to touch that wire (unless you want to...

Reversing camera using factory sat nav as monitor

I don't know but I would suggest you have a look at the back of the dvd unit for the sat nav and see if it has the empty 7 pin green socket, if it has I can't see why not.

Reversing camera using factory sat nav as monitor

Thanks for all your advice, I now have the camera working and it was much easier than I expected, there was conflicting instructions on other sites, but just as a help to others here is what I did : Luckily I used to work in the Honda factory and still have contacts there so I managed to get...
