    Front Fogs....Oval or Round

I fitted a front spoiler with oval cut-outs.. My CDTi has round foglamps. I had to remove the lamps in order to fit the spoiler and then make new brackets to fit the round foglamps. It was very time consuming and a pain in the balls. One of the lamps has cracked since..stonechip or whatever...

Mine is an 05 Sport import from England and came with full Honda History when I got it in 2007 with 70k.Now has 175k, new clutch/flywheel, driveshafts, and exhaust mani replacement under warentee. I wish it had the 6spd box, and I don't like the skinny steering wheel. Otherwise I think it's a...

Braking system in the 2.2 diesel Accord

Here's a few things that I've come across about brakes, and not just Honda related.. I had an Audi Coupe years ago, and I changed the front pads (standard Audi whatever they were, can't remember) and by chance my local Motor Factors supplied Pagid pads.. the difference was very noticable, much...

    Low Coolant = Limp Mode.

Yep.. My temp gauge went to just above half-way...nothing to notice really, so I'm grateful for the Limp-Mode kicking in, otherwise it could've been terminal.. So the thing is take note of your Temp Gauge when everything is "Normal"...so if it deviates then you know that there's something amiss.

    Low Coolant = Limp Mode.

Hello Lads, maybe this has been mentioned before... Basically, If the coolant level goes low, and as a result the engine temp increases, the car will go into Limp mode without any warning lights on dash or fault codes on the ECU. I lost a small amount of coolant when I removed the inlet manifold...

    Camchain worries...yes, that old chestnut!

If the engine runs quiet and smoothly now, all is good so maintain the oil and filter changes regurlary.

Drive shaft Saga... Thinking of saying goodbye to the Accord...

I have to disagree with you toffee_pie. A pair of Blueprint shafts cost me 230 Euro. My car has been re-mapped so is producing more torque than standard. I know this because I did it. It does not do track days, and I'm sure not many CTDi cars do.. However it is driven fairly briskly on the road...

Help, VSA light and the warning light next to it has come on!

    Strange VSA...

Car back on the road with new flywheel and clutch. Got a loan ot the clutch fitting tool from Honda dealer. The mechanic told me he had "no idea" how it worked.. ?? Anyway, flywheel was banjaxed, but the clutch itself was still good..not bad for the high mileage that's on it..this is the...

Intake manifold and EGR cleaning on i-CTDi

The BEST THING that you can do for this engine is REMOVE THE INLET MANIFOLD and clean it thoroughly.. All the re-mapping or EGR-Off tuning will not remedy a gunked up Inlet Manifold. CLEAN THE MANIFOLD!! Really lads, I'm serious.. New Clutch kit & Flywheel recieved today..fitting it...

    Strange VSA...

Between 4 & 5 hundred Euro. Buddy of mine runs his own garage and he's getting a loan of "The Tool" from Honda dealer. Replacing the belt aswell whilst I'm at it. Only thing left to fail is the T-Chain..................

    Strange VSA...

Brake fluid leaked out from rear caliper. The piston came out past the seal even though the pads weren't worn down to the limit. Wound the piston back in, fitted new pads and it's good as.. Now to replace the clutch and flywheel. 800 Euro for LUK flywheel & clutch kit... Here's hoping she holds...
