So if i was to drive it 25 miles in each direction a day but took it for a good tun at the weekend we could b ok? Honda said to me today that there was a known issue on 09-12 plate dtecs but with a new software update they wouldnt expect to replace the dpf until 140k

Does anyone know how many miles into a journey before regen takes places. My main daily trip is only about 20 mins of dual carriageway about 17 miles of journey.Works well for my cdti but will i kill of an 8th gen dtec with this?

looking to buy 8th gen do I need to get dpf replaced?

I am going to tackle the dealer. If they replace it I would feel much easier about it knowing my own driving style etc.Knowing its already had a regen on mot could be useful.if not then deals off I would rather a petrol in that case.

looking to buy 8th gen do I need to get dpf replaced?

Its pretty bad then if the way to fix it is what is then considered to be an illegal move.Frustrates me as its really putting me off but REALLY want the car! Does anyone have a good story with these? Does sound like I would just need to get it removed.
