    Steering knock at low speeds and when taking the bite

    My guess is lower control arm compliance bushes. Could also be lower ball joint. Next would be upper control arm bushes or ball joint.

    7th Gen - What have you done today?

    Changed rear right brake caliper because it was binding. Problem is solved. Only difficult part was removing the handbrake cable. It was rusted solid, fused to the old caliper bracket. Used a hammer and the shaft of an old screwdriver to tap neatly around the outer edges of of the metal...

    New Owner With A Few Issue

    The whirring noise from the rear off side could well be a sticking caliper. Seems to be a common fault. After a drive, check the heat on all 4 wheels, Is that wheel much hotter?. Does that wheel turn easily when jacked up with the handbrake off? A squeaky belt sound could just be a worn belt...
