from that link its looking like its the Bosal AK6, i think all i can really do is unbolt the mounting bracket and fiddle with it off the car,and im not sure if i really want to do that.

vertical, it seems to locate, but the twisty handle doesnt spin back the full 180 degrees, so its not locating / locking properly the spring pin fires ok when the bar is out of the bumper, so maybe theres some rust / crud in the recess thats stopping it all locating properly

Ive got a detachable towbar, (i think its a Witter), but i cant get the hook to latch into the socket properly. i thought this was the answer to my problems, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbfS3VYKE5Y , but its not. It looks like its worked because the hook goes in and the latch springs, but...

i had similar in mine, passenger side was fine, drivers only blew hot what ever it was set to. the dealer diagnosed the motorised flap that diverts hot and cold air, but luckily it all started working again before i needed to do anything. i guess something got stuck, and then freed itself

The dealer has been told "thanks, but no thanks". especially as the thing has started working again. if it happens again in the future, a) i will know what it is, b) i'll get it done at an independent AC place thanks for everyones advice

does anyone have a parts list? if i can see that the parts are the same for the 2.0 and 2.4 i'll go back and get them to explain themselves.

i agree, it doesnt seem worth engineering two types of flap, or should we say good for honda for not compromising and having attention to detail when designing these things ?

If they had ordered the right part last week it might be fixed now, unfortunately they ordered a flap for a 2.0, and mines a 2.4. 2.4 flaps are not in stock so i have a 3 week wait. Oh for flaps sake...

Apparently one of my flaps is stuck ! The one that diverts hot and cold air needs replacing, Its not a big part, but a lot of the dash needs to come out to fit it, so labour will be more than the part.
