    Power Steering Pump Bearing

After a few days since posting I have some news… - Given up with local Honda garage. They didn’t find the fault after 2 visits, they also offered to have the car overnight to see if it happens with a cold start (despite me saying cold starts are not having an effect) - My local indy has taken a...

How do you use TypeAccord & why did you first join?

I check the various forums before I purchase vehicles - I used CivInfo a little for my previous car, foc-u.co.uk for my previous bike (Fazer) and street-triple.co.uk for my current bike (Triumph Street Triple). With ownership they are very helpful with "hints and tips" for keeping vehicles...

DIY 7th Gen Dipped Beam Headlight Bulb Change

Very clear pics and write-up, well done! It is very easy to install them the wrong way up, although there are slots/grooves in the holder and bulb it still fitted OK upside down! Osram Nightbreakers are now working nicely.

In mild temperatures, the 18" give so much more feedback and overall grip, it makes the 16" feel like offroad bicycle tyres. I'm still keeping these on for when the winter really kicks in, so I can overtake...

Resurrecting an old thread from the grave... For the past week I've had similar noises from the belt area. It seems the most common faults are with the alternator or idle pulley, but from the DIY guides I gather these are located closer to the bottom of the engine. So, in hope that I've...

How long are you people planning to hang on to your cars for - and why?

I'm happy with mine - about 6 years old, 70k on the clock, I've found a good indy for servicing who's happy to use my genuine Honda parts. For the price, it's cheap to run, not too bad on insurance, tax and *touch wood* reliable. For anything more I'd have to spend a lot more money, or risk...

    From 16" to 18" alloys

Hi guys I've had various problems with my 16" original alloy wheels that came with the car - whether winter tyres or summer tyres, new tyres or refitting the other sets, they vibrated and needed rebalancing after 500 miles. A couple of garages mentioned two of the wheels needed a lot of...
