after driving for a little bit the car doesn't grind whilst putting in reverse... so the fluid has helped with that... only issue is the reversing itself... :-(...

well sadly its not gonna be cost effective for a rebuild or a replacement... so i guess im just gonna run my car into the ground then get a new one... no more auto's for me... manual all the way...

Ok guys, changed the transmission fluid. Flushed the old stuff out like he does on the video above... Used some Comma fluid that was recommended by my local motor factors (just to see if there was any improvement - then i would of done it again with Honda stuff)... And it still does the grinding...

Good idea? should i do this with cheap stuff then fill up properly?...

fluid? will this fluid be ok?... ive read to change the fluid a few times to completely flush?...

i actually have no idea... before i got the car tat was over a year and a half ago... not much in terms of history to go off either... can the trans fluid really cause that big of an issue? how do i check the trans fluid properly?...

Hi guys, my car for a while has been grinding intermittently when selecting reverse on my gearbox (its a 2000 accord SE 2ltr) I've just put up with this but recently now when i reverse it makes a loud bang and the car judders... It doesn't matter if i reverse fast or slow... even to the point...

ahhh cool i guess??... LoL im not gonna remove the IACV but i sprayed a lot of carb cleaner straight into the air inlet... so hopefully thats helped... ive just disconnected the battery so i will do the ECU reset in the morning... i cleaned the EGR Valve and Plate the other month... what a faff...

i'll check the mains relay... think im going to have to replace the ignition switch which is about £60ish? the car engine keeps running when it rolls back... i did not know that about the rev counter so thanks... it would appear my car idles at the right speed... but if i rev the engine it...

hey guys... my rear pads and discs need changing... the pads had an advisory on my last MOT (December)... as well as the front pads being a fail (so i changed front pads and discs whith standard parts so it would pass)... basically im just wondering, should i stick with standard flat rear pads...

hmmmmm, not sure what to do... i have been warned off second hand cats as you dont know the life its had...

i was just gonna empty the loose stuff out if i could?... rather than the whole honeycomb?...
