    New alloys

Ok, bearing in mind that hopefully I will be getting some slightly lowered suspension, I feel that its only right to give the car some new shoes as well. I have always liked the look of the Rage wheels however they do appear to be as rare as hens teeth. What wheels do you guys think look best...

    No driver door detection

Thanks crespo, appreciate the effort you are putting into helping me, and please do not take this as anything other than myself trying to seek clarity, I am a bit confused by your post, the issue I am having is that when I open, physically open, the drivers door, the car does not detect that...

    No driver door detection

So, found this: http://www.driveaccord.net/forums/showthread.php?t=28390 His symptoms are identical to mine, only I wasnt foolish enough to blow mine up by bad modding and use of tools. Looks like you can get replacement boxes for 30 odd notes second hand, so might try that.

    No driver door detection

Thats what I was thinking. There is no current at the point where the connector connects to the door switch/plug in the B pillar, so I want to follow the wire back to the fuse box and see at which point I start getting power again. If I dont get it sorted, I am sure that the missus will unlock...

    No driver door detection

Door switch/plug is fine, tested it with another one from the passenger side and there is no current going to the door switch. Il rip apart the side of the car when it stops raining and see what I can find. The more I read up on it, sounds like the MICU unit. Thanks for the replies so far.

    No driver door detection

Not sure what the locking mechanism has to do with it, but thanks anyways. As mentioned, I swapped the door switches around and no joy. Broke out the multimeter and there is no current going to the door switch. Tested the same on the passenger front door and its a constant 12v live feed, so...

    No driver door detection

Ok, so my very well behaved car has decided to throw its toys out of the cot a little bit and get upset over something. Basically, when I open the drivers door, the car does not detect at all that it is open. No chime from the keys being left in the ignition, no puddle lights, no interior dome...

    Opps

Stevearcade - my Mrs never used to drive any cars, was frustrating at some times, and a relief at others. Oh well, at least the kids werent hurt and thats the important thing at the end of the day. Not like the car has bad tyres though. Bridgestone Potenza with just under 3000 miles on them...

    Opps

So, missus takes the kiddies to school and decided to introduce my pride and joy into one of its arch rivals. No, not the 4x4 driver who cant drive, but the pavement. Takes out the front offside tyre, destroys the alloy and bends the lower control arm. Phones me up to say, oh, ive clipped the...

    HID Installation

Yes mate, no wires to cut, it is all just plug and play as such. Get some rubber gloves if you can so that you dont damage the bulbs when installing them if you accidentally touch them. Looking forward to seeing some pictures

    HID Installation

No, there is about a half inch clearance between bottom of head unit and chassis of car. The bong can be put into place easily enough from the inside of the housing and thread the wires around. Well, I shouldn't say easy but it can be done.

    HID Installation

I used the same HID kit which brett used in his car after reading it in another post on here. Talk about sharing the love.... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Xenon-HID-Conversion-KIT-H1-H3-H7-H9-H11-HB3-HB4-9006-/330379335700?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4cec249814 Make sure...

    HID Installation

HID's arrived and installed. Read a lot of people either put the ballast inside of the unit (I was concerned about heat dissipation) or drilled holes in the dust cap to run the cables through. After browsing through an Acura site, saw the way one fella did it and preferred to do it his way...

    HID Installation

Hello again, ok as promised from my above post, I would let you know what the official legal standing is of HID's from the department of transport. They finally emailed me back and I will copy and paste this here. It is a bit long, but does contain all of the information needed. Basically...

    Flip key conversion

From my research, some of the cheaper ones use cheap quality metal for their blades resulting in bending, not cutting correctly etc. For the sake of a bit more money, get a better quality one. I paid a tenner for each of my fobs and the quality of the key blade is like the OEM.
