    Exhaust fumes/smell in cabin I-CTDI

Hi all, I had the strong smell of exhaust fumes in the cabin of my 2004 167k Accord, after reading through this thread I thought I may as well give it a shot, so I sent a very nicely worded email to Honda head office about my Accord and the issue also not wanting to scrap the old girl just yet...

    Front Bumper advice

Thanks for the advice folks, I can get one in a different colour (need satin silver) but the cost of respray on top of purchase price means that removal and repair of the original bumper seems like the best way to go, I contacted a local Honda healer and they quoter £420 for a new one in silver...

    Front Bumper advice

Jeez I got a sore hear from reading that one, so it looks like the hunt is back on for the bumper, the one I saw was a petrol and it didn't have the water jets for the headlights, and by the looks of it it will have to be from a diesel from around the same year, wish me luck, also thanks again...

    Front Bumper advice

Hi F6HAD, its a diesel I have but I have seen a bumper from a petrol tourer and wasn't quite sure if it would fit, I'm not quite sure that you mean by "Bumper bodykit" but the round fog lights and plastic trim that surrounds them are fine.

    Front Bumper advice

Hi all I have a pretty well damaged front bumper and have been looking at ebay and scrap yards for a replacement, I have been reading the forums and I am still a bit confused, are the bumpers from the diesels and petrol for this year the same? this thread confused me even more, as I'm not sure...

    Colours 2004 ICDTI Saloon

Hi All Some lovely lady decided to change lanes on a roundabout and collided with my nearside wing and front bumper, I think the insurance will write it off ( 2004 135k) so I am thinking of a buy back and repair job, looking on ebay i see other silver models and they seem to look more blueish...

    2004 CDTI Issues

Forgot to mention the manifold issue, the mechanic said he could smell it a little, on visual inspection he could see no soot or anything suspicious at the back of the engine so maybe I got off lighlty with that one but I'll keep my nose on it!

    2004 CDTI Issues

Thanks guys, I'm going to try the paperclip at the weekend, worth a try and at least I will have a better idea of where to look, I also will disconnect the negative on the battery for a while and see if it will reset itself, the mechanic also advised that the vsa light was now an mot failure so...

    2004 CDTI Issues

Well just back from the garage and the mechanic could not get full access to the full abs/vsa system via his reader, this led him to suspect the module was knackered and not sending any diagnostics to the machine? He has advised that he has had the same issue with both BMW and most recently an...
