I've got mine booked in on Wednesday to have a look under warranty - so I'll fill you in on their findings. However it has changed, the warning still beeps and flashes "Check System" (on every start-up) bit the icon on the LED display has changed from ((ABS)) to (( ! )), brakes I think this is.

This rings a bell, I have been checking out the trip computer settings too. Furthest I went was looking at my limiter settings which are set to 30 / 70mph. I've probably hit some random button combination that turns on this check without knowing it.

I tried two yesterday - so it's not 0000 or 9999 (imaginative guesses I know!), clearly that narrows it down quite a bit. I only have another 9998 combinations to try. My next attempts will be 3333 then 1234. Or maybe I should just call the dealer. :)

Thanks, makes sense. I was getting confused by the timing of it. Push the button, it beeps, then asks for the security code. So I was saying 0000, it'd then do nothing so I pressed the button again and it spoke out some random number, then said it was the wrong number. I'll give it another...

Cycle carriers is definitely something I want to be getting. Roof bars are my preferred option but I think they'll spoil the look of the car - and I presume they're pretty much a permanent fixture? I have the 2006 Saloon. Anyone got any pics of one with Thule / Halfords / Other Roof Bars fitted?
