Well I tackled it and all went to plan, not too difficult, replaced bulb, put bumper back only to find still not working! I thought **** I've just wasted £40 on a new bulb but after some parts swapping to eliminate what was at fault, turns out that not only had the bulb blown the Ballast was...

Sorry to ask what is probably a simple question but I need to change the HID D2S Bulbs on my 2.2 I-DTEC EX GT Tourer and notice that the manual says this should only be done at a Dealer because they can still hold a High Voltage. What precautions should I take to do this myself? Will I be ok...

Thanks for that, pretty sure they are now as they do brighten or at least they did and there was a definite line where the beam stops, I have also found the full spec lists for all the models and mine is the EX GT which has HID as standard!

I have an EX-GT and I'm pretty sure it has HID Xenons fitted, I'm not 100% sure though but how can I tell without getting to the bulbs or even the covers, anyone ??? :unsure:

Anybody out there know what the OEM HID D2S Bulbs that are fitted in 2009 Accord Tourer low beams, the reason I ask is that Honda want £98 per bulb and I feel that is a bit steep so I want to purchase myself and get them to fit for me?! Rob

Well my faith has been restored in Honda, esp City Honda Basingstoke who replaced clutch and DMF all under warranty, didn't cost me a penny phew! :D
