    Dying clutch

Mine's started doing it in 3rd now if I floor it from low revs, which is annoying as I was looking to get rid of it! now will have to get it changed first.

Odd noise with clutch pressed on and off

Neil sounds like release bearing to me too - I have the same thing like a white noise when clutch is pressed. Clutch works fine though. J yours is the opposite; noise when releasing the clutch? Could it just be the turbo variable vane noise? It is a very strange noise which has worried many...

    Totally transformed by xenons!

It's not an MOT issue. Some say it takes the headlights outside their e-marking which would make them not road legal, but the MOT doesn't care about what's road legal or not.

ultimate diesel or standard diesel for accord ictdi?

I just use it because it's the best, I don't expect it to save me money or give me more power or anything, it's just the best fuel available so I use it.

ultimate diesel or standard diesel for accord ictdi?

I always use V-Power Diesel, never put anything else in it since I bought it.

    L.E.D. Sidelights

Thanks dude! The founder of Huskies in Need used to own a GSD, she's very good friends with the people who run Vigil Shepherd rescue and BIGGSD, they've fostered a couple of our dogs on emergency before.

    L.E.D. Sidelights

I would recommend the MTEC 501 bulbs rather than LEDs, particularly if you are facelift: http://typeaccord.co.uk/forum/topic/11984-sidelights-to-leds-back-to-bulbs/ I've been through all sorts of LEDs, but at the end of the day the MTECs look better and brighter, I would only go back to LEDs...

    Turbo noise accord 04'

The turbo on these sounds odd anyway, even when warm it makes more of a low pitch noise than most turbo diesels - if it starts sounding like a bag of nails in a tumble drier then you have problems, otherwise it's 99% likely to be normal.

I think my clutch is slipping

Well I had expected it to go sooner or later so I'm not that upset about it, but I had heard about giving it some shock therapy to wake up the adjuster :D I have been using it less recently as the missus is now learning to drive so we're using her car for work and stuff - once she passes I will...

I think my clutch is slipping

Anyone know how much it is now for a clutch replacement at Honda? I thought it was a happiness deal but I can't find it on the fixed price list online any more. About £800? My thrust bearing has been making noises for a while, I guess the flywheel should be done at the same time as well?

Accord being discontinued in the UK?

Accord owners funeral procession around the UK? Black tourers look like hearses after all :D

Accord being discontinued in the UK?

My local garage never have any Accords in, I'm guessing they've squeezed it out by increasing the size and luxury of the Civic (the estate is actually very nice) and having the CRV as the big one in the range.

    Honda Satnav fixed price repairs

Mine's throwing up errors much more often now :( Is the price of £5,720 really correct for a new unit?! I ***ume if sending for repair I would have to somehow remove the device? If I attempt this I guarantee I will break something.

    Rearing to the right

Just hold your hand near the wheels after a drive, you'll notice if one is much hotter than the others. They will all be HOT though, particularly the fronts, so don't go sticking your hand on the discs or anything, just feel the radiated heat.
