Great news break light now fixed. Took the right handside side panel off & the wiring was there, the White wire was the brake light. Soldered a new section of wire in & heat shrunk protection, all as good as new. I hope the info helps someone else. Cheers

Hi I have not had any water in after using lots of goo in the roof rails channel! I did it once and it still had water coming in, then did it again and used lots and it has been fine. Wish I had found that service sheet. Hope you get it fixed. Cheers

Hi Brett, you were spot on! The roof rails are factory fit as it is an ex facelift 08 car. I jacked the car up from the front then just tipped water over the rear section of the channel where the bars attach and yes water started to come in. I have signs of rust behind the lining, so waiting...
