Cheers Brian, that made for interesting reading. In my case hiting a ballard seems to have deformed the rear bumper and moved the plastic surrounding the latch that sits on top of the bumper. Bit of adjustment and its back working.

Yes thanks I checked the remote, the tourer central locking won't work if something is half open. I got it closed manual and the remote is now working. The code has also gone. I think it is the bottom latch that has moved slightly.

No LED on the accord and I drove round in my first accord for about six months thinking the aircon was broken. I hadn't switched it on. With the nav cars you need to make sure the on button is pressed on the touch screen aircon controls.

The pre face lift don't have the same sat nav software and the later discs will not work. Face lift cars have different menus and also have traffic.

I have the same problem but seem to be able to clear it by going from hot to cold (max) a couple of times. I suspect the blender motors on the drivers side that operates the flaps on the heater is sticking.

Will try this next time the fault happens and report back.

Update This problem went and came back. I was replacing a bulb today so also cleaned up the battery connections. The Battery only had 12.2 so that might have been the problem. However, this low battery might have been caused by the intermitent problem. Also cleaned up a couple of earth points,

Thanks Shabz, I will check the door switches and also check the battery. I will have a look if I can find any circuit diagrams as the seatbelt tell tale might be on the same circuit.

Air con on cars has a pressure sensor switch for if the gas is low. If the aircon works when you bridge the switch you have found your problem. Make certain you also dont have a leak,

The weather hasnt been too bad so I havent done anything about my heater problem. I found the thread about the air con diagnosis. Sensor six came up as ER. So i guess this is the drivers side blender?

Gosh that was a quick reply, yes they are both showing high. If you put both temps to 28 the same thing happens.

Well I have bought a very nice 2.2 tourer thats blowing hot and cold. The car was not bought from a dealer so no warranty. If I have the heater on hot, I get hot out of the passenger side face vent but nothing but cooler air out of the drivers side face vents. Has anyone had this problem...
