Tried mine, its an EX, and the lights stay on when the car is switched off and when you take the keys out and open the door the car tells you that they are on. I have tried to cover the sensor as well however it doesnt work lol

Is there a possibility to have the lights to come on when the engine starts? Was thinking to cover the light sensor and have the lights set up to auto. Does anybody tried this? I will be travelling across most of Europe in a month and a lot of countries require you to have the lights on...

Are you sure its an air lock? Once engine in operating temperature try to set the temperature to HI, open all vents on dash and check if all are pushing just cold air or some are blowing hot as well. I have the same problem after changing coolant, found out that the vent flap position motor...

Hi, i have just replaced my rear brakes. Ebay jobby, around £60 for rear discs and pads, when they arrived i found out that the discs are borg&beck and pads were meyle brand. They were straight fit, discs coated with some special coating, not sure what it does and so far no issues, I believe...

Update: received the insides of the original key today, £21 on ebay...went into programming mode at the first time, programmed the key at the first attempt and i can happily report that its working and i can finally lock and unlock the car with the key and the alarm is off :D

very nice review, some key things there what I would be looking on when buying unit like this.....on the other side, when you do have sat nav build in your car, surely it cant be so expensive to convert the unit to be able to have your phones screen ??? or get an used old-ish phone to connect it...

Yep, thank you....i have changed the batteries in the siren, the old ones were dead so changed them, just to be on the safe side....i believe my problem is with the actuall remote....the little light on the key lights up when any button is pressed....but somehow i think it doesnt send any...

massively overpriced for a alarm siren....that is just a part, obviously they would want extra for replacement...going to maplin tomorrow....they have 3.6v batteries, I will get 2 and connect them in serial to create 7.2v what is what the siren needs...going to take the old battery our and...
