    Speaker upgrade

The feed to the parcel shelf is bass only or low frequencies. This is what the set up in EX is, I don't know about Type R. In Type S and basic models, the feed is full range which is definitely better. Manish.

    Speaker upgrade

I don't think just changing the parcel shelfs would add more bass. It is the input to them which needs upgrading. They are 40W max bass only speakers. They do produce good bass at high volumes, but at low volumes they don't have enough oomph. Recently one of the local mobile audio fitters was...

Thanks everybody. Honda Huddersfield thinks it is the headlight levelling motor which is shot. They didn't attempt reapiring the connection. There was no electrician available today. The headlight levelling mechanism was working fine though! They have quoted £203 for the motor including...

continous high pitched ticking sound with ignition on: help with the diagnosis please

Thanks atta boy for your reply. No I don't leave the aircon on all the time. Don't use automatic climate control as the compressor keeps coming on and saps more power and fuel. Use manual climate control, although bit of a pain really as it is all touch screen. The white connector which I am...

continous high pitched ticking sound with ignition on: help with the diagnosis please

My 56 plate 2.0 petrol accord has suddenly started producing a high pitched continous ticking sound from under the right side of the engine bay, possibly from somewhere under the right front wing. It comes on as soon I flick the key on to ignition even before the engine fires up. No warning...

    Windscreen

My 7th generation's windscreen is also covered with millions of white spots / chips ever since I bought it at 46k miles. It's really annoying when the sun is low and in the front. It is clearly a fault in the manufacturing / design. Were there any recalls on the 7th gen for the windscreen? I...

Improving the audio without going overboard!

The rear supply on the EX is unfortunately split to feed both the rear door midrange and the base only speakers on the parcel shelf. So it's only 20W X2 going to base speakers, not enough for producing base at all. i think the set up in SE is better as you got 40W X2 for the rear shelves as...
