Yes, in that case, having taken both trip and tank fill readings, whichever is greater would definitely be the more accurate!

Good Point. I too note miles & litres each time I fill up. It's the only way to get a really accurate mpg reading.

I may be completely wrong here, but having gone out to have a look at mine, it looks as if you need a small screwdriver to loosen the jet slightly before adjusting the angle. I would proceed with caution! Don't try and force anything. Perhaps you should wait for advice from someone more...
