starter

Ok, so sometimes when i start my car i get this whining/grinding noise straight after the engine turns over for a second or two which i have a feeling might be my starter motor. Not really sure how else to describe it. There are times where it makes the sound while trying to start the engine...

Hi All, Just a quick question (sorry if the wrong subforum), is the starter motor on the K24 manual for 03-05 reg the same? Just want to be sure for when I get a new one as I can't check it and don't know how to... Thanks
