Air Conditioning Compressor

Hi All. My Air conditioning compressor has seized and I need to remove it. I have removed 3 of the bolts but the 4th will not come off I have noticed that the compressor seems to be bolted to a spacer plare about 25mm thick. Does anyone know if you can remove this plate with the compressor in place? I can get to 3 bolts on it but It is looking like there could be a 4th behind the compressor.

Can you take a picture and post ?

I removed the VRS module on the Tourer by taking the mounting carriage off first, the battery box is similarly designed.

Hi All

I found a picture of the plate on line and I see it has 3 bolts that you can easily access but the 4th is behind the compressor, so that idea is a fail.

If you can remove three out of four then conceivably you could try rotating the plate around on the fourth bolt to loosen it.
