Can someone with a 7th gen confirm if a piece of trim panel is meant to exist under dash?

I’m doing some work on my car (electrics, under dash, above pedals), and I don’t seem to have any trim panel to hide all of that wiring etc.

Now, I don't even know if there is meant to be a piece of trim panel there or not, but I’m kinda surprised there isn’t.

Can someone confirm if their 7th gen does indeed have some kind of trim panel to hide all of that stuff?

I’m wondering if mine is missing that bit (as I’ve only had the car for 8 months and this is the first time I’ve had to stick my head under there).
