Asking for advice. Bought Honda accord 2006 diesel back in July. Had problem with clutch pedal, when you hold it down for too long it’s coming back to slow and after it’s very hard when you press it. I’ve changed clutch master cylinder was hoping it will help but nothing 2 weeks ago changed slave cylinder was ok for 1 days clutch pedal was easier to press but after started the same problem. Also noticed that if you hold clutch pedal for too long biting point is at the start. When car is cold clutch is ok but once it warms up clutch is very hard to press. Thanks

Master and slaved changed - it's not the hydraulics. Liable to be the clutch is going. What's the miles? Driving style is the overall cause but they do seem to have an average lifespan! Mine gave out right after getting the car, aprox 160k. Ended up so far gone gears couldn't be selected when warm. Stuck at the end of a slip road with a car that wouldn't go into gear, that was no fun!

Problem sorted

Release bearing

Got lucky there then!
Painful job for just the release bearing though that's for sure. Suprised it wasn't noisy! Glad you got it sorted.

It just gets stuck when you hold clutch to long,so found this post on group, just use little bit dry grease wd40 and problem gone for now
