I have a 2012 EX model and have noticed that some of the ES GT models have a Silver/chrome surround to the fog lights.

I was thinking of spraying mine silver. Or possibly trying to buy the GT ones.
Does anyone know how they come off?

Thanks.

Hi Dave and welcome,

They are clipped and screwed on from inside the bumper. So probably easiest to take the bumper off.

Spraying might not be durable, quite a lot of stone impact in that area.

Thanks Rich. I saw a youtube video of the latest us version where there is a hole under the car where you can see a screw and if you unscrew this a couple of turns you can prise out the fog light surround from the front. Looks different to the UK version but wondered if it was the same setup.

Btw, does anyone know if you can buy the chrome GT surrounds?

Course you can buy them Dave, at any Honda dealer.

Lings Honda have an online parts site, although Holdcroft Honda in Stoke are cheaper with free postage, call them and ask for a quote and Type Accord discount.

Lings dont seem to have the facelift model on their site, but the fog lamp surrounds are £20 each on the pre facelift model, just black plastic.

Let us know if you get a price.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. Looks good but unfortunately I have the 2012 model and the front bumper is a different shape now and so is the fog light surround. SO that one wouldn't fit. :-(
