Accord type r
Hi,
After my mechanic giving my atr a good go over today, seems im in need of a rear subframe sooner rather than later.
Ive been trying to find out if the atr subframe is the same as the standard accord subframe, does anybody know or know where i could find such information?
Thanks rob

it's a bit of a gamble but the rear multilink remained unchanged between 6th and 7th gen, 4th and 5th had a knuckle almost like the front of an integra, and then for the mk8 they did multilink for the bottom end, and a wishbone for the top

the part numbers don't match, but judging by appearance and celette portal fixtures I use at work, the ch1 type r is identical to the cg7, cg8 and cg9
cl7-cl9-cn1 and usa model 6th gen accord 2.0, 2.3 and v6 should also be identical meaning it will bolt up. there could be subtle differences like the type r could have additional stitch welds for rigidity but that's about it

all our cars are from the late 90s parts bin anyway so there's a good chance it'll work out. it all looks to be right, but you be the judge.

Ah brilliant thank you, you've given me a starting point to go from.
Im gutted that before i bought the car i was told to check the subframes and bulkhead which i did, subframes looked like they had some attention so i was happy.
Today im told someone had undersealed over rust to make them look good .
Finding 1 is 1 thing but finding 1 in a decent condition is another lol.
Thanks again mate for your help
