What we all doing about the rust monkey?

Spotted a bit of rust on the inner rear arch and wondering whether or not to try and sort it or just leave it.
Its nearly 14 years old now so is it to be expected?

Not 8th gen but the tourer has had two spots on the bonnet ever since I had her. I'm sure the last owner had a knock on the LHS , the radiator mount, headlight and fittings are testament.
