I've looked in the manual but I can't find the fuse location for the accessory socket in the boot of my tourer. Mine isn't working and the fuse is my first port of call. Anyone know?

Drivers kick panel fuse board. Fuse 9 which is the cigarette lighter fuse. Its a 20amp and on bottom row of fuses (based on 2.4 tourer)
I blew the fuse the other week using an air compressor and the ciggy lighter and boot 12v packed up. New fuse got them both working again.

Hope this helps

My 2003 2 litre Tourer has the cig lighter at #9 (bottom row) and rear accessory at #12 (far left of middle row). Been meaning to do this, as mine went ages ago, when (oddly enough) using the compressor. They obviously didn't check that out properly, did they, with regard to fuse amperage for the factory supplied accessories! Well done Mr H. Not.

Can someone confirm my idea of where the rear accessory socket fuse is? I did check it a while ago with no luck.
According to my info it is supposed to be fuse 12

edit: there might be an extra one in the "subfuse box" attached to the main fuse/relay box under the bonnet

Just spotted this, thanks for that info. I'll have another look. It wouldn't surprise me if the manual was wrong, as there are a few variants.
