cooling fan not working

my cooling fan doesnt seem to be working have tried the bypassing by jumping the connector on the thermostat housing and both fans work car doesn't seem to be over heating should i be worried.
 
My cooling fan hardly ever comes on in comparison to other cars I've had, so I wouldn't necessarily worry about it.

After the coolant system drain and refill, starting the engine it took around 10 mins for the fans to come on whilst sitting idling to aid the bleed process.
 
i used to wait ages for the radiator fan on my 6th gen to come on when it was idling on the driveway and i always gave up before it ever did

the only time i ever remember it coming on was in traffic jams on motorways in high summer
 
check the coolant after a couple of days normal use following the fill - it will have dropped a bit so just top it up - I found running it at the time like the handbook says was just a waste of time

as long as your temperature needle shows normal then all should be well
 
Yes mine don't come on very often either, but usually at the end of the drive when I have parked and idle for a minute it turns on, and I let it run before switching engine an dignition off.
