Hi sorry to be posting again I know I'm a new member asking a lot here!
I've been digging around as I've just got the car and found a lot of talk about the anti theft system in the radio's.

I have the UK model and was wondering, do they all have this built in as I didn't receive a code when I bought the car.
Looking around I've found ways to obtain the code but I just wanted to check as mine may not even have this feature, there is no anti theft light on the radio itself, only the red flashing light on the dials.

Thanks again guys any advice is appreciated.

IIRC they are coded though as TheHole said, it's rare to see someone steal a factory radio bespoke for that car. Most smash into cars to steal generic radios to sell them on to Pawnbrokers or in semi-rare cases, keep for their own use. Since the Accord unit will only fit an Accord (of your vintage), it would be pointless, not to mention a mammoth task in comparison to an old car.

EDIT: I stand corrected, they're not apparently coded. :)

Plus i would LOVE to see some one steal the 7th gen HU. Its not the easiest thing to remove :D

Thanks for the replies, the question was more about finding out if all the radio's have the anti theft so I'm able to swap them and not worry about obtaining the code. I'm looking to take mine out and put the satnav version in but didn't know if I should be asking for any anti-theft codes on eBay.

Removing the stereo or cutting the wiring to it would trigger the car alarm if set, but that is all the security that is in the stereo, no codes needed
