K20/K24 head swap

Right im new but i have some experience in b series honda :p Year ago i have build with my friends B20 v tec engine produce 226 bhp.

I'm thinking to do same to my accord.

Did anyone build accord ? K20a2 head on k24a3 in UK ?

Its lets say simple with EP3 on ele TB etc.
will Hondata Flash pro work in UK car or i need US TSX ecu etc ?

Any help?
 
what sort of mods do i need ? to get close to 250 ? :D

I know 220 is kind of easy

No need for k20 head untill you gonna use st3 cams and up. stock head flows well, just a head swap gives ya only 4-5hp. Stock head can be used for up to 280hp power , then you can port it , once you have it and it will flow more than k20. its good to take k20 head if you build engine from scratch , cr-v bottom , good cams, pistons etc . but oce you already have a good head you can use it and port it.

install a good defouler and youll have no CEL without cat . not shure if police will be happy with your smell without cat , guys from OZ told me they have penalty for 5000 AUD for unathorised cat remove if police catch em. check the laws.
 
sorry im not fun of LPG :p in my home country almost all people drive on LPG :p

LPG is better , more powerful and around 30-35% cheaper to run, if setup is good and tuned correctly. it burns a lil more slower than petrol, just use ignition advancer , it will give ya full burn , more power and its more safe for valves. unfortunately lots of cheapasses trying to save too much and install cheap ( bad ) equipment ( components ) , have problems and then spread foolish tales that LPG is bad. Use brc , landi renzo , prince and youll be good !

Yep , u can try it . U can also try to find and ask someone with built Accord to make ya a testdrive to show what Honda can do. K24 is really fun to drive when u open its potential. With just intake header and reflash it will be a completely different car.

biggest pumping losses we have on resonator , paper filter , header and converter . catback is good and not restrictive . with intake and header mod u can shave around 1 liter off consumption. if you tune the carto have more torque you can shave another 0.5-1 liter off .

Ask ukcl9 , he can tell ya about his mpg after reflash header and decat.
