My accord seems to cough like it is not getting enough fuel or like there is air in the lines. I have replaced the low quality fuel filter with a Bosch one and still no joy. Any suggestions ??

Was the filter bought from a Honda dealer or a motor factors? Any errors or warning lights? Did you bleed the filter after fitting?

Yes that was the next question once we qualify what filter was fitted and how

Hi guys. The filter is from Honda and I fitted it using the squeezy pump to fill it. I then ran the car and cracked off the bleed nut to make sure there was no air in it.
As far as codes go. My mate zapped it for me a while ago and I got P1065 P0403 and P1401. He then cleared it so I could see if one would come back. None have so far because I ease off as soon as the fault occurres.
If I really give it some throttle I think I could probably get the car to register a fault and go into limp mode. If you think I should

If you've had p1401 then you have a clogged inlet manifold and faulty EGR. That would be my next port of call now.

We can deactivate and blank off the EGR as part of a Stage 1 or 2 remap so an option worth considering.

Is there a way to clean it up? I also use a tuning on economy setting but I have had the problem longer than the box has been fitted.
I was aslo considering getting the car terra cleaned. It has done 60k

Remove that tuning box it's over fuelling your car and exacerbating the problem.

Have a look in the diy section

Don't ware any time, just go straight to fahad's remap plus EGR valve deletion, in that way, you won't face any power loss problem, trust me, I've been to this, and my tourer running superbly good after that.
