I have just noticed that the clear plastic headlight covers on my Accord have slight corrosion marks which I can feel with my fingernails.
Can any member recommend a polish to bring the covers back to pristine condition?

Thanks in advance.

As hole says any fine abrasive should do it. High grade wet and dry sand paper (wet obv), try toothpaste or even T cut

I had the same issue with my 2004 ictdi. Follow the below for a mirror like shine!
!Pop up the bonnet and tape off bodywork around lights!
1, wash headlights with fairy liquid to remove grease / bugs / wax etc use fairy as it strips all grease etc
2, use wet and dry sand paper working from 800 all the way up to 2500 grit, keep the sand paper and lights wet. a spray bottle is ideal
3, use g3 farecla compound I used a orbital machine
4, apply a coat of wax

Stand back and admire the results!

Note * once sanded down the lights will look terrible like you have ruined them but trust they polish up nicely

P.s this worked brilliantly for me I am not responsible for any damage you may do to your car. :)

I used this http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=152180853187&alt=web
After 5000 grit wet sand it is actually very easy to polish with cloth.
