Looking back on my service history it seems the flywheel was swapped out by honda about 55k ago. Would they of put new bolts in or anything as part of a recall type thing? Or could it go again? I know clutches obviously wear out but im just wanting to know about the flywheel and the liklehood of it "falling off" a second time.

Thanks

I doubt it ever fell off... the springs probably became weak (or broken). It isn't unusual to have had a replacement DMF.

I heard they fall off :D or at least become really noisy. What im wondering is if it has been replaced by honda would they have put on a new part/bolt/threadlock kinda thing to stop it happening again? Like a recall.

I've never heard of them falling off... I think you've been a victim of some sort of internet joke?

Honda would have fitted the new DMF in an appropriate way in line with the official Honda workshop manual.
