Are Diesel Fuel filters from ECP OK?

Hi All,

I'm getting my Accord Tourer (06 CTDi EX) serviced in the next week or so by an independent garage, I'm pretty sure they use EuroCar parts when sourcing most of the items they use (I've seen it on a previous invoice for brake discs and pads).

Knowing about all the issues with non genuine fuel filters, are the ones from ECP OK to use, or should I source one myself from elsewhere?
Looking on ECP's website, they have 3 or 4 different options for the fuel filter ranging from about £10-30

Has anyone purchased and used a filter from ECP before?

Get the proper one bosch 442, they are cheaper here than anywhere else.

Always use genuine Honda filters, so many problems reported spawn from using after market or third part filters

Same applies to the oil filter too

My garage used firm filter from euro car parts, ran fine for about a month then all sorts of power performance issues. Isn't worth the hassle just get the genuine filter from honda
