Hi all, last summer I brought a 2.2 i-cdti Accord(2004). Since last winter after 40-50km driven, I stop and few minutes later I restart the engine, the p1069 fault will coming, and doesn't turm more than 2000 rpm. The MAP voltage goes 2,7 V (180-200 mbar) even if the engine doesn't works(!?). If I disconnect the MAP sensor, than the value 100 mbar again, and I can reset the ECU with OBD 2 instrument. And no problem in next days.
I changed the MAP-sensor for a new one, the result is the same. Any idea? Possible to need a software upgrade?

Only other guy I've ever known to have this problem and in his case it was a map sensor.

Have you replaced with a new genuine dealer part?
Hello F6HAD,

my Accord did totaly same like car of this guy. Since I changed the oil, pollein and gasoilfilter, than came the same problem.
Originally was Bosch sensor inside, now I brought the similar type just different version number Bosch sensor, but I didn't found any Honda type in shops.
So my failure was last winter, every weeks once. After MAP sensor changing I belived it solved. But yesterday comes again :-(

Buy a genuine new one from honda.

Do you know which is the genuine type? I didn't found any Honda or Denso type only Bosch. I have two Bosch sensor: 0281 002 845 and 0281 002 680. Both sensor shows this failure.

Call our affiliated dealer in Stoke on Trent, Holdcroft Honda. They will supply the right part and should be able to send to Hungary
