So boys. I have made a diy for the automatic transmission fluid change.

Excellent guide mate, thanks.

Did the fluid pour in ok through the dipstick tube? Was it slow?

There is a filler hole further under the battery, but access is probably bad.

The fluid went perfectly through the dipstick tube. The funel fitted like it's was made for it.

As i wrote in the guide. It is more simple to change the atf then the engine oil.

Have you noticed any change in the gearchanges, speed, smoothness etc?

a bit more smooth. the car have only passed 80000km and the fluid look okay when it came out.

Just did mine today at 77k miles. Fluid that came out was yucky. Nice clean cherry coloured Honda ATF in there now.
Took almost 3 litres. Sump plug is a 1\4" box socket.
Seems to change gear more smoothly, worth doing before 75k that Honda recommend.

Here is the Accord service manual for the North American version, see below. It should have the procedure to change the transmission fluid.
In the US, I use Valvoline MaxLife ATF and it is fully compatible with most Honda Transmissions. It meets or exceeds Honda specifications.

I like to change the Automatic Transmission fluid every 15k-20k miles on all my cars.

When I purchased my 2008 Accord a few months ago, it had 70k miles and only 2.7litres had ever been changed. The shifted terrible. I then drained and refilled the transmission, drove it about 10 miles, drained and refilled again and the transmission is shifting like it is brand new!

If you are having shifting problems and never changed the fluid, change it the way I described.

Here is the service manual link for 2008-2010.
