I changed my rear discs & pads on my 1.8 around a month or so ago and Iv noticed when slowing down I get a rubbing sounds and high pitch squeal any ideas please much appreciated thanks

You need to go over the install really, make sure all the pads have seated properly and not angled, lubed the pads up in their respective places, make sure the retainers are sitting properly. Aftermarket pads do not always fit flush, they can be a bit loose so they move around.

Iv had the rear wheel of on the drivers side and noticed the pad seems to be wearing on a angle the sliders etc seem fine any ideas thanks for your information

Could be the pads not fitting properly in the carriers. Did they have enough movement when you installed them?

I have in the past sometimes filed the edges of the pads to make them fit 100%.

There should be just enough movement for them to move in the carrriers

They seem to move fine in the carriers brakes work perfect I'll take to my local garage get them to give it a brake check thanks guys

If they are wearing on angle then they are defo not sitting properly, either your disk or pads.
