I have a couple of very minor (I hope) faults to sort out on my Accord. Firstly the front interior overhead light cluster has stopped working. Both central light and map reading lights are not coming on. I had read that this was run off the same fuse as the sun-visor vanity mirrors, which are functioning correctly, so maybe there is something else to look for.

Secondly, the headlamp washers are not working. As with the light issue above I have not done any diagnosis work yet. I just thought I'd post up here before I start poking around looking in case there are common causes of failures of these two items. Obviously fuses will be a first port of call.

Is your washer bottle full? The headlights don't wash when the level drops to conserve fluid.

Fuses or an earth somewhere?

Do the headlight storks rise from the bumper and just no water comes out? Can you hear the pump trying to push water through? If so a blocked hose is likely.

Has the bumper been off at all. If so its easy to kink the headlight washer pipe when reassembling which stops fluid getting to the washers

Hi there.

Maybe you've sorted the map reading light issues out by now?

The map reading light switches in the ***embly are common faults on a number of hondas.

If you want more info., google or search ebay or gumtree with 'honda map reading light switch sped210200'

or email me on lawrie.lpv@gmail.com and I'll provide some info.

Hope this helps

Not available through Gumtree now.

Search Google for: "ebay uk Honda-Civic-Accord-CRV-Jazz-Interior-map-reading-light-switch-not-working" and that should point you straight to the listing on eBay UK.
