As some of you may know me I thought I'd share some pics of my build.

Bought the car from rev it up back in August 2013 in totally stock form. After having a milano one it was a nice step up with the few standard extras and especially the lsd

The intention was to keep it totally standard (haha)

Role on to January 2015 and a front gp splitter came up quite cheap, so I thought what the hell it's an oem part so it'll be a nice addition

I also opted for some yellow fog light protectors too as there quite prone to cracking.

On picking the gp front up from a lad who had one with all mugen bits on it pretty much went ***s up after that and the mod hunting started

Around February time a mugen spoiler came up for sale at a reasonable price plus my oem spoiler. I was in talks with the lad for a while with nothing moving.

On one of my shifts he said he's not selling anymore as car gets p/x'd the following day.

Being a man of oppertunity I said I'd meet him and buy it before he traded in including meeting him asap.

Quick chat with my boss at 3am and I was off to Wolverhampton in which I was bolting it on at 6.15 am at a travel in.

Next little mod was a set of genuine mugen reservoir socks which was my last mod until January 15 although I don't seem to have a pic.

My next mod was a mugen airbox which had popped up for sale in nov14 but I didn't have funds till the January but a kind lad let me pay a deposit which was great

I kept the airbox in storage until I had got some more mods the next being a tegiwa manifold.

I'd have gone for a toda but there seems to be a lot of there stuff failing lately so went for second best on this occasion. I had the manifold for my birthday (February) quite lucky really.

I also kept the manifold in my attic (it's still there now as it'll need mapping.

Next on the agenda was a cat back which I bought in May 2015.

Another bargain cropped up so off to Leeds to pick up a tdi north 3".

I couldn't get over the shear diameter of the thing

It spent about 2 months in the garage but started taking up space so thought time to fit some stuff

The end of July my car was going in to the Mrs cousins for a wheel refurb at the very last min I opted for black as I was fed up of cleaning the White.

Upon collecting the car I was really happy with how it was looking.

It makes one hell of a racket in full chat but smiles per miles is ace

Looks awesome man! What's it like to drive? Does it shift and perform well. I've often heard these aren't as good as earlier CTRs, but I think they look brilliant, and I wonder if people are just talking trash.

To be totally honest it's a load of crap the milano wasn't as quick point to point as the champ white, with the exhaust and airbox it seems to pick up quicker although the stock car back is a terrible design and flattens out in places where as this is 3" mandrel bent single exit so flows very well. If your ever near chester your more than welcome to have a blast in it

Awesome! Cheers man

Looks lovely mate. If it's not mapped yet, it's likely to be running a little rich now if you've added an induction kit and decat.

Cheers bud, No decat bud just cat back the manifold de cats it but I won't fit it until it gets mapped.

Future mods

Spoon monoblocks
Stoptech discs
Ds2500 pads
Skunk2 pro inlet mani
J37 t/b
Set of tdi North stage 2 cams

Should see 250bhp peak with one hell of a mid range

Sounds like a good plan.

Yep the k24 is a very under rated car and has lots of tuning potential.

My kid brother went from a K24 to a CL7 EuroR however..

Good choice in the cl7 sadly it's out of my price range.
What I am thinking of doing to make it a true bargain barge is try and source everything second hand.

I'd run my rsp manifold
Throttle body
And fn2 cams
I'm i right in thinking msx vtc is 45 degrees or can you run the full 50?

check out the USA tsx forums if you want to know more about tuning the K24 blocks, they love them out there

An untruthful Yank? Never lol
