CAI K&N for CU2

Not at all, perfectly legal.

CAI is as much illegal as the Pope is a Protestant

but if a boy-racer fitted one (not saying the OP is one) and didn't tell their insurance company and then ploughed into a bus-stop full with pedestrians, they'd find themselves bankrupt because their insurance company wouldn't cough up

Astounds me how much these are (saying that it may be just me being tight)

When I had my 7th Gen, I bought one of eBay for £40 (new).
It stated it was for the Accord but when I got it, it was for the US Accord.

I contacted K&N and explained that I bought a kit but it was not for my car and I needed a Acura TSX
I was prepared to pay the additional parts but K&N misunderstood me and though I bought it direct from themselves.

Anyway, they sent me a full replacement for nothing and shipped it free from the US for me (well I wasn't going to tell them)
It was the long Typhoon kit which went to the wheel arch which sounded great

PS = You can very similar on eBay.com but the shipping varies and can cost a lot (but always worth keeping an eye out)

cheers guys. I have a friend who wants to sell it to me with 180 pounds, 'cause he lives in Germany and in his area is not allowed with that CAI.

strange that it's "illegal" in Germany, maybe they mean that insurance companies in Germany will not insure DIY mods ?

to be honest I have no clue . What matters is that it's under a good price.
