Help!!!! I foolishly bought a cheap tuning box from Ebay to gain some power for my 2009 2.2 I-DTEC accord tourer. Worked great for an hour then the car went into limp mode. Took off the tuning box and it returned to normal. However the engine light stays on. The car drives fine. I've removed the battery terminals overnight, removed the 7.5 back up ECU fuse overnight but it still wont go off!!
Will I have to bite the bullet and give Honda £75 to check it out??

Is there another way to rest the ECU?

Any help please!!!!

Welcome to the forum. You don't happen to have access to an OBD reader? That would at least get you the error code and you can reset them without having to pay £75. For future reference, you can get an OBD Bluetooth thing, plug it in and then connect to it with a smartphone using any number of free ODB apps. The OBD bluetooth things are about £10 on eBay.

Any cheap code reader should be able to clear the code on the engine module.

If you're interested in a proper tuning solution, then drop me a line. I would be interested in the error you got, most likely a rail pressure error

I bought one from eBay but it wouldn't link with the car. Might try a different one. Cheers.
