7th gen tourer 225/45 R17 91Y Yokohama Advan Sports at the moment. Never had any issue with them grip wise but they're a little soft and haven't lasted as long as I'd hoped.

What tyres are you all using now? Any good recommendations for a quiet tyre with good grip?

Cheers Spud.

I use bridgestone RE002's, use them on track and fast road, immense grip and its my all round tyre, no complaints.

Pirelli p zero

Great in wet

I'm on Bridgestone s001's at the minute, they're grippy enough, not very fuel efficient, but grippy none the less. They were actually panned for rolling resistance on their own test track which is where lack of fuel efficiency comes in.

You're gonna think I'm mad, but I wanted a mid-range tyre for my 19's, and my tyre guy pointed me at a budget tyre his son was using on his 330d following a recommendation.

They're Autogrip Grip 200's, and I paid £80 for a pair of 225/35-19's to try them out.

5000 miles in, they're showing hardly any wear, and are better in both the wet and the dry than the Uniroyal rain sport 2's I took off.

Surprised doesn't even come close.

Matching pair for the rear this week.

Personally I am looking at Falken Ziex when mine needs replacing, heard good things about them and they are good price.

I can never seem to find the Re070's in 18" size, lots of people say they've been discontinued, I see camskill still has them in 17" alright, and I still have my 17" type S rimsthere, next time I'll take a punt and put the 17's back on I think

My tourer has Michelin Pilot Sport 3, 225/40/18. Good tires but a lit bit too noisy. Next will be Goodyear Eagle F1 AS3 or Dunlop SP Sport Maxx RT, both have good grip and are quiet.

Used to run Nokian WR A3's on my winter wheels on my Legacy.
Amazing on greasy roads and made the car unstoppable in the snow.

They make a great tyre.

Falken ZE 914s. Good balance of performance, noise and price.

Having been running Michelin PS3s for a good while and been very pleased I then went on to the PS4s. Can't really give a good review as they were only on the car for less than three weeks before it was written off... Gutted :-(

I had Uniroyal Rainsport 3 on my previous car (2001 Audi A4 1.9 TDI) and was very impressed with them.

'A' rated wet weather grip and I would back that up. They feel sticky in the dry and still felt confident in them at low temperatures but main point is they are brilliant at dispersing standing water. Which we seem to be getting a lot of this summer!

Will be getting some again once I've chosen some wheels.

Now I'm using Dunlop SP Sport Maxx RT (225/40/18). excellent grip & quiet.

Personally I always like Michelin Tyres, especially Michelin Primacy although I had Michelin energy on my last car and I was happy with them too. I've always found Michelin tyres to be excellent and very quiet. Plus with me being a Costco member I can get them at a really good price as well :)

That being said my current accord only cost me £450 so should it need tyres, it's not getting Michelin lol. Nope I'd just go with a budget brand for it, most probably Maxxis.

Went for the Bridgestones in the end. Seems like there's more "gaps" than rubber so I expect good wet grip. Without doubt though not as good as the Yoko's.

225/40/18
Yokahama
Dunlop sport max RT2.

Next want to buy Michelin pilot sport 4
And want to try front 225 /40/18
Back 235(245)/35(40)/18
What ever size can go for rear.

For the guys that are using Bridgestone Potenzas, how many miles are you able to put in them?

I used to use Potenza RE-050A's on my old Subaru Legacy, and got between 35k miles from one set and 40k from another.
Even with 273hp it was light on tyres thanks to the way the 4wd works on it though.

If you rotate your tyres front to back, I couldn't see why the would do 30k on an accord though.

That is really good, thought they would not last that much!
At the moment I am using Bridgestone Turanza T001. They have good grip, but the tire wall is too soft, it deforms too much while turning.

RE-050A's are OE fitment on a lot of cars.

The sidewalls are really stiff, but I did get a lot of road noise with the Subaru.
Fortunately the Honda's rammed with far more insulation.

At the moment I'm on some Chinese cheapie Roadgrips as recommended by a friend, and they're incredible for the price.

Personally I use good year eagle f1
