Upper screen from non-navi to replace upper navi

Good evening all.

I wonder if anyone done this replacement.

I have an oem upper screen with navi system, but I want to replace it with a screen from no-navi version. The reason Im doing it is because I have to take out the central audio unit to install the aftermarket double din and move up the air-conditioning display. The screen would fit bit I'm concern about connection cables...
 
I'm not sure about the differences on the 8th gen, any pics of what you mean ?

It is a 2010, 2.2 idtec (180) type s cu3, saloon.
