remap at Premier Tuning - review

So I took the plunge and.......my goodness, i can actually hear my turbo whistling now and the pull is superb and i will not be getting any carbon gunking everything up either Such a polite chap too and I cannot fault his enthusiasm and knowledge and honesty and straightforward thinking. I should have done this last year.

He even chastised me, in a gentle but meaningful way, about the state of my car (she is a workhorse and I have a growing family aswell as a dog) and i have booked her in for a professional valet. It is the least she deserves.

It was a 300 miles round trip (ok - my father in law did it for me - such a good old boy) but worth every penny.

Was this just a remap or open heart surgery??

3 weeks and a fair few miles on and things are great. Very responsive and no decrease in mpg.

After 2 regens in short time (1500 miles) took the long drive from the south to Premier Tuning. had heart surgery to DPF, stage 2 tune, turbo free off and egr blank off. Now covered another 5000 miles in my completely transformed idtec auto 2009 (103000 miles) Almost 2 seconds off 0-62 time, instant throttle response, smoother running and best of all big improvement in 70-100 acceleration (ahem!). Fuel consumption despite using the additional performance is pretty much the same at 45/48 mpg on a run on the dash meter. Thanks Fahad and team for a job well done. Round trip of approaching 600 miles well worth it. Some nice pictures of my car on Youtube at Fahads garage. Highly recommended.

Well I bought a 11 plate Accord Type S 2.2 about 8 months ago from honda Huddersfield. The car ran great for about 5-6 months then the dreaded DPF faults started So I did abit of mooching on the net and came across Premier Tuning. So,I messaged Fahad on the Weds about a price and he said bring it down Fri !!Which I thought wow that's quick. So Fahad took the Dreaded DPF out and did a stage 2 ECU remap putting the power upto 232 BHP and what a fantastic job him and his team did. A very vast improvement on performance right through the gears and mpg Fahad really knows his stuff,I take my hat of to him for his knowledge and commitment. If anybody has ANY problems with the DPF he's your man. Well recommended.
