Hi,
I am in a middle of finishing my DLRs install. Can anyone possibly tell me where can I find the headlamp +12V wire that controls the relay from around the steering wheel/contact switch area?

Someone previously had fitted the think DLR strips just above the fog lamps in the front bumper of my 04 Accord and I think wrongly they just wired the positive to the Alternator multi-plug IGN +12v (not the power cable that feeds the battery!). TBH this is probably wrong and they bodged as it's very close and easy to get to. But I think this is not the best way because I don't see a fuse on the DLR supply. I guess this could be ok if they had fused & secured it properly. So could be an option.

Yes it's not the best option of many how to wire them. I will feed the power straight from the battery to relay 1 and then from relay 1 to relay 2. Relay 1 will be controlled from the ignition switch so when I turn the key to position II it will switch on. Relay 2 I want to control from the headlight switch to turn them off when the headlights are turned on. This is how it supped to work at least in Europe anyway. DLRs can't be used (or must be dimmed) at night time and I don't see the point why to leave them on at all.

Europe? what Europe ;op

I would like mine controlled too, just going to wait till warmer climes as cannot be doing this stuff nowadays in the cold, not as young as I used to be.
