I know I have seen threads on here 'how to remove trim and repair seat heaters' but all the key words I have put in the search have been to no avail.
Can anyone help me with the links please.
 
41 Views ? Surely one of you guys is more computer savvy than an old fart like me.
 
Hmmmm, I'm sure someone did a detailed thread a while back on a heated seat repair that included lots of pictures of the seat removal etc. I'll see if I can find it.
 
Thanks for your help Steve. The thread I recall showed the original elements being repaired by soldering wire across the burnt out sections, but the one you found is a good starting point for removing the trim.
 
OK to update and clear up the mystery of the missing thread. Searching the internet I realised what I thought was a thread on here was in fact a video on YouTube. A guy in America shows how he did it. He took the seat out and did it in the comfort of his garage. It looks a pig of a job with so many parts to remove or disconnect. I'm not sure want heated seats that much, maybe if I get really bored when the weather improves !
