Type R parts are difficult to find over here, so I'm looking to take the 3.5L Legend option. Looking for background info on this, a local brake pad supplier claims these cars use the same brake pads:

 • HONDA ACURA TL (USA) 1999 - On ◄ Front
 • HONDA LEGEND 4Dr, 2Dr COUPE - Some Models 1999 - 05 ◄ Front
 • HONDA ODYSSEY RB SERIES 2.4L 2006 ◄ Front

So logically these cars use the same 2 pod Nissin caliper.

The Odyssey is plentiful on AU roads, and driven by people statistically prone to low speed distraction-incident write-offs B). The key to this being a third option would lie with the mounting bracket of course.

Before I go do the measurements etc I should ask if anyone in the UK / EU looked at this as an alternative to the Accord Type R caliper?

Thanks.

I can't say for sure I'm afraid but I think I recall someone did this and they did fit.. legends are very rare here so not a common mod

I can't speak for the Odyssey, but the Legend pads do fit (well the UK Legend pads) anyway.

The Legend caliper has the leading and following piston reversed if set up on an Accord. I presume the intent is that the larger piston transmits more down force on the following end of the pad.

I suppose one could set the caliper up as intended, and unbolt the caliper should it require bleeding.

It's not beyond my abilities to drill and tap a second bleed screw into a caliper I suppose.
