I was on the hunt on how to do a oil change, and came accross this useful free guide below..

i was veery interesting in the oil change section where you can buy a vacuum extractor and stick a tube down the dip stick hole and suck up all your **** oil without getting to messy.

Whilst it does save on washer replacement, and can make a dubious sump go for a lot longer, dipstick removal does not clear out the c r a p normally hanging around at the oil pump inlet (often a fine gauze on vehicles) and it does not give the 'mechanic' an opportunity to remove metal filings from any magnetic bolt at the bottom of the engine.

For £75 I'd expect a 6litre bottle of the best Plus an OEM filter.

Best play safe and do as Honda suggest.
