Last week floored it on slip road getting on mway, over did it on low gear as some fool was trying to undercut me on the slip Rd. When I made it to the mway, it felt as no power, glow plug light was blinking in twin flashes, pulled on hard shoulder, car wouldt rev over 2000 rpm, as my exit junction was a few 100 yrds away, I manged to get back on mway, glow plug light still flashing but again car would not rev over 2k, pulled back on hard shoulder, switched engine off, waited a while, glow plug light stopped flashing, car rev as per normal. Since then I've driven without any issues at all, local and motorway. Hope it was just a momentary glitch.

Flashing glow plug means either low fuel pressure or low boost pressure normally..
Plug in a diagnostic it might have retained an error code.
If the diesel filter hasn't been done in a while, replace with a new genuine honda item.

Thanks Fahad, filter hasn't been changed well over a year now, but I don't do the miles I used to do in the car now. Car has been feeling very sluggish though. I think it will benefit from a filter replacement. I don't have a device to plug in it.
