Accord Front Grill Replacement

Hi all ,

First time posting here , I Would like some ***istance in replacing the front grill , excuse me for any ideas that may seem silly as I am certainly a novice in the car scene !

Basically I currently own a 2005 Honda Accord 2.2 Ex , ( see picture below ) , however I would like to change the front grill to something similar of the type s or euro r look . ( see picture below ).

However I have some questions regarding obtaining the grill , fitting problems and what I should look for .

As first you must be careful when buying a new grill because there are 3 different options.
On the pre-facelift model are two options...If you want to have an type s or euro r grill on a diesel model you will need an GT version grill which was an accessory for that model.
Take your time and do a bit of research on this forum because you have a lot of useful informations regarding this.
If i remember well one of the topics was from F6HAD.
He made this update on his pre-facelift model so i'm sure that he can help you

On your pre facelift car, you need to source a grill from a diesel Sport variant. That will have the honeycombe look you want and will have the correct slam panel fitting.

Don't take one from a petrol type S.

Yes you need a pre facelift grill and you then need the slam panel trim also as that is different.

I'm sure I have both items if your interested? I have the sports honey Combe grill like in your pic.
