Ok, I've been wanting to get this thread going for a while, but I've been waiting to spot a car worthy of kicking it off. Here's how it works:

See a nice car on your daily biz, post it here. Car shows don't count, it's gotta be a in the wild spot. Picture or it never happened  ;) .

I spotted this gem on the way to collect my boy from his Kung Fu lesson on Monday afternoon  :o . So unbelievably tidy. I just hope it's still got its original engine (I know these are hellishly difficult to keep running with age, heat issues, engine rebuilds every 60K, apex seals and so on, hence they often end up having complete engine conversions to more reliable units).

A friend of mine who has an FD3S swapped the motor out of it years ago, but not because reliability was an issue, it was solid.

The 13BREW went like stink (made 500+hp) but would only manage something like 4mpg on track, requiring that he take an additional 60 litres of fuel to get through a track day.

RX 7's and 8's are fairly common here.  We also see a lot of Jap "grey" imports.  Regulations specify that the cars need to be over 10 years old though.  But that makes them affordable as in Japan 10 year old cars are almost write-offs.

Saw this last Saturday (only getting around to posting it now) in my local Waitrose carpark. Spot the grey GTR.

Not sure what was going on last Saturday. Shortly after I saw this, a Ferrari drove past (don't ask me what, it was a modern one! All modern Ferraris look the same to me and I can't tell them apart. Doubt I could accurately identify one post F55 except the Enzo). It was gone before I could photo it. A little after the Ferrari sighting I also saw a replica of the car from Starsky & Hutch, white strip and all, but it was gone by the time I could get my phone out again.

This little winner regularly appears on my drive.

Yes, my dad drives an ultra-clean restored E30 with lowered suspension and fat little mesh wheels.

He refuses to have a company car because he likes his simple little Beemer so much, and has just treated it to fresh bushes throughout and new Bilsteins.

Silly me totally forgot to take a picture, buut walking around in Shepperton earlier, I saw a stunning car, in pearl white, with the Honda Civic logo on the back. A '17 plate, but having got home and searched, there is nothing in the results that look anything like this one.

For a start this had a contoured roof (two bumps near the rear hatch) and looked much lower and less like a half walnut shape of the usual Civic that is everywhere.

Alloy and anthracite wheels that set if off nicely.

I wish I'd got a shot of it now as nobody will believe me.

Was it one of the brand new Civics? http://www.honda.co....r/overview.html

Or maybe an older import from Japan with a body shape we didn't have here in Europe.

Trying to get the 360 to work here, no go as yet.

If it has the two lumps on the roof at the rear then that is the one.

It stood out in the high street like a Pininfarina, (I should know, I've had a few ) :D

Yes, the new version for 2017, in orchid pearl white.

Looks better than the brochure.

Saw a blue 1600 one or whatever it was a fortnight ago on the motorway.

Huge fake vents in both the bumpers made it look ridiculous.

The type R looks amazing though, just the cooking versions look terrible.

Second that, it just seems "shapeless" with lines and angles all over the shop - like two designers working on the car decided they liked the rear on one sketch and the front on the other and thought sod it lets prit stick them together and get down the pub

The one I saw was not fitted with the daft rear wing. Having seen the choice of colours the white is the only one that 'works' with the shape

Could paint that any colour you like, it'd still be gopping.

Those two massive fake vent panels are hideous. Hopefully they house afterburners for making a quick getaway from the taste police.

Yeah. Nearly bought one back before I had kids, and they were cheap(ish).

Wish i had sometimes, but in reality i would've probably just thrashed it to death and never bought a house.
